Greetings!
My name is Annika Pohlman and I am a Telescoped Math teacher here at Sanford Middle School. I teach an advisory class, Telescoped 7|8, Telescoped 8|9, and Math Extension.
I grew up in Madison, Wisconsin and attended public schools in Madison for K-12. I graduated from St. Olaf College with a Bachelor's degree in Math Education. I started at Sanford in the fall of 2018 and taught last year at a middle school in St. Paul. In my spare time, I love to travel, read, spend time outside, and hang out with friends.
I believe that all students should be given the tools and supports they need in order to reach their goals in math class. I am excited to share my love of math with my students this year. If any students need additional help or time with math homework, I am avaiable before and after school as well as during 6th grade lunch.
Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns by email at annika.pohlman@mpls.k12.mn.us
Looking forward to a great school year!
Annika Pohlman
