I am a graduate of the  University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. I attended graduate school at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities completing the Secondary Social Studies  program.  I also studied in England as part of the University of Michigan's Study Abroad program. 

Before moving to Minnesota, I taught Ojibwe Language and Culture to grades K-6 (1990-1992) on the L'Anse Indian Reservation in Michigan.  I also taught Ojibwe Language at Michigan Technological University.
