Happy New Year!

Welcome back, we hope you had a nice winter break. There are a lot of smiles on student’s faces in the halls as they reunite with friends and teachers and get back in the routine.

We hope you had a restful winter break. We are happy to see so many happy faces walking the halls and welcome all of our students back.

Afterschool Classes

We started our 2ndout of 3 sessions for afterschool programming on Mon. Jan. 7th.

Please note that there is No afterschool this Thursday Jan. 10thdue to our prospective families incoming 6thgrade open house. This includes after school bussing.

Tues. Jan. 22ndor Wed. Jan. 23rdNo Afterschool- Including Cast in Crew in Legally Blonde. This is new information from what was originally communicated for cast/crew.

An informational meeting for parents for all students in the cast and tech crew of Legally Blonde will be on Tues. Jan. 22ndfrom 5:30-6:30pm in the auditorium.

Philips Eye Institute will be at Sanford in the upcoming weeks to conduct vision screening for all of our 6thgraders. Please watch for a letter to come home with your student.

CPEO-Connecting Parents to Educational Opportunities

Wed. Feb. 13th-Wed. March 13th

Sanford Middle School

A 5 week course offered to all families. It is on wed. evenings starting on Feb. 13th. There is no cost and childcare and dinner is provided. Classes are in Spanish, Somali and English. 

CPEO is a free five-week program that provides 

parents with the necessary tools and skills to develop 

strong and positive home-school partnerships and 

support the academic achievement of students.
